Advanced Funding for Weekends

We are aware that some of our institution Weekend expenses are exceeding the limits we are currently using as guide lines for advances. As a result we are raising the limits for advances to:

1. Weekend Leader advance from $125.00 to $200.00.

2. Weekend Coordinator advance from $1500.00 to $2000.00.

In accordance with our National Financial Policies and Procedures section H.5 all cash advances to Weekend leaders and support team Coordinators must be properly accounted for. Therefore, "BOTH LEADERS AND COORDINATORS MUST PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION WITHIN 21 DAYS AFTER COMPLETION OF THE EVENT FOR WHICH THE CASH ADVANCE WAS GIVEN."

The sole purpose of this adjustment is not to encourage people to spend more but to avoid volunteers from spending their own personal money to cover the early cost of conducting our Kairos Weekends.
